Refund Policy

This Refund Policy governs all purchases made on Settldown (settldown.com), operated by Settldown Technologies Private Limited. By making a purchase, you agree to this policy.
1. Credit Packs
Credits are purchased by agents to unlock student enquiry contact details on the platform.
- Unused credits: Refundable within 7 days of purchase, provided no credits from that purchase have been spent. Contact us at billing@settldown.com with your order ID.
- Partially used packs: No refund is available once any credit from the pack has been used to unlock an enquiry.
- Credits never expire and are not time-restricted โ refund requests solely on the basis of non-use after 7 days will not be entertained.
2. Subscription Plans
- Monthly plans: Refundable within 48 hours of the charge date, provided fewer than 3 enquiry unlocks have been used in that billing cycle.
- Annual plans: A prorated refund (calculated from the date of cancellation request) is available within 30 days of the annual charge. After 30 days, no refund is issued but the plan remains active until the period expires.
- Subscriptions cancelled mid-period are not partially refunded unless within the windows above.
3. Exam Vouchers
- Before voucher delivery: Full refund within 24 hours of purchase, before the voucher code has been issued.
- After voucher delivery: No refund once the voucher code has been sent. Voucher codes are non-transferable and tied to the exam board's terms.
- If a purchased voucher is found to be invalid or expired due to an error on our part, we will either reissue a valid voucher or provide a full refund.
4. How to Request a Refund
- Email billing@settldown.com with the subject line "Refund Request โ [Order ID]".
- Include: your registered email address, the order ID (found in your payment confirmation email), the reason for the refund, and the Razorpay payment ID if available.
- We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and process eligible refunds within 5โ7 business days.
- Refunds are credited back to the original payment method (card, UPI, or net banking).
5. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us first before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks increase resolution time significantly. We take all billing disputes seriously and will work to resolve them fairly.
